How to Clear the Internet Cache in Every Major Browser

Some users that do not consider themselves tech-savvy may not know why regular (and even irregular) efforts to erase the Cache are quite important. Cache represented data stored by the browser locally in order to either positively affect the performance of loading frequently visited pages or to preserve information useful to the user. For example, your browser may store the history of your online adventures or so-called cookies to make working with websites a little bit more convenient.

The storage may become too big for your PC to handle and negatively impact the performance. Sometimes, the desire to avoid unnecessary attention to your browsing habits could be also important.

In the vast majority of modern browsers, erasing the cache is done by simply pressing CTRL+SHIFT+DEL in Windows or COMMAND+SHIFT+DEL in MAC.

Here are some practical reasons to do it:

·   You receive too many 404 or 502 errors when opening new pages on the world wide web

·   The tabs show outdated information from places you frequently visit

·   You suspect that your PC was infected with some form of malicious software

·   The PC overall is working noticeably slower which may indicate that you have problems with an overcrowded hard drive

02.   Scroll towards “Settings”

03.   The button “Advanced” is next
